Description:

HARMAN Automotive is hiring an Associate Engineer - Android Framework to support the development and optimization of Android framework components and native services. In this role, you will work on Android platform internals, integrate native and Android layers, troubleshoot system-level issues, and contribute to performance improvements for next-generation automotive infotainment systems.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in Android development with exposure to Android framework concepts.
• Good proficiency in C++ (C++11 or above).
• Basic hands-on experience with Android NDK and native development.
• Understanding of Android architecture, HAL, and Binder IPC basics.
• Familiarity with Linux environments and embedded systems fundamentals.
• Experience with version control tools like Git and basic CI/CD workflows.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Eagerness to learn Android platform internals and system-level development.
• Willingness to work from the office five days a week.
